For the Love of the City is an organization in the Lower East Side focused on underprivileged community outreach by means of basketball events, supply giveaways, and community drives. The branding aimed to create a symbol that would be versatile enough to use for the different aspects of the brand.

 
 

The final branding for “FTLOTC” features the heart icon and thick-stroke typography. We strived to create a design that would be versatile enough for multiple types of events, apparel designs, signage, and other applications needed. The end product feels simple and inviting, yet strong and durable just like NYC.
